Is this TIMELESS or is this DATED?

An essay on Wisdom.

I saw this image and it struck me as so...correct, right, and true; and at the same time as so ~not~ what is done in 2018 or whatever crazy year.

For example, people are expressing spontaneously and not valuing pre-thinking what you express.
People are saying in essence, don't think before you speak.
People are saying up is down.
People are clowning.
They're zeitgeist-y and ever-new. 

Well, how about you?
Do YOU think before you speak?
What is your advice?
