Would it not be nice to know the classics?
Then you consider The Bible, and you remember Shakespeare, and you smile and shake your head because you've been classicking all along. It does not get more classical than those.
And so when a child learns at Koranic school, or an auntie tells a folk Yoruba story maybe with its own song and drums ... the beautifulness of life in that moment is complete and connected to the past so far back as to be valued as classic.
How old is language? All human speech, the older languages, the newest language?
